The history of Casablanca Airport dates back to 1951, when the first facilities were built on a former US Air Force military base in the municipality of Nouaceur.

Since then, Mohammed V Airport has undergone a spectacular transformation. Modernized and expanded several times, it has adapted to the growing demands of international air transport, going from a few thousand passengers to over 10 million travelers per year.
